Anthony has a long history working in technology. Before 1981 Anthony worked as a Service Manager and prior to that as a specialist in fuel injection systems.
But in 1981 Anthony, self taught in programming and technology in those early days, was programming games, and by 1983 was selling and supporting computer technology in some volume. In 1985, Anthony was visiting Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan and partnering with a number of PC makers. Anthony was selling literally a 40 foot truck of PC's a week! In September 1988 Anthony left a previous company but in January 1989 Anthony opened this company, which was then originally called Satellite Systems and later renamed to Network Systems.
From 1989 until 2000 Anthony and his colleagues sold and supported computer technology, networks and a number of specialised vertical market solutions. Throughout this time the company also supported many technology products and distributed a number of them in the UK. In 2000 Anthony and the management team changed the company direction to paging systems and communications and that has remained a success ever since.
In 2000 Anthony and the team (mainly Graham Technical Director) launched an ISP service as part of the company called mscable.com that was discontinued in recent years simply because the profitability was poor for the liability of ensuring the service was robust. That extensive experience of operating an ISP with our own servers for well over 20 years certainly was helpful in moving the LRS UK internet presence forward considerably. Anthony has extensive knowledge of that provisioning.
Following negotiation of a number of distribution deals of often new technology to move the company forward, Anthony is today involved in management, internet development over a large number of websites, development and design of products and even articles and papers that help both companies and individuals about a number of aspects that have become important. Titles include:

In 2001 Anthony changed the company name to Long Range Systems UK Ltd because of operating closely with LRS Dallas, TX as a UK office, supporting LRS customers in the UK, Southern Ireland and Iceland as well as any ex-UK colony territory.
In fact the LRS UK team have won the office of the year title from LRS Dallas for at least SIX years almost consecutively which says good things about the UK office. Since 2020 LRS has not really operated that system by supplying trophies sadly. LRS has however picked up the accolade on a few occasions since 2020 while other offices have won also.
As well as the operational aspects of Long Range Systems Holdings (the Group) and LRS UK with the management team and Anthony the company remains a strong and resilient operation for over 35 years.
Anthony's experience with and in technology companies, distribution and other aspects of working with the Far East is extensive. Anthony used to have a 'LinkedIn' page but dropped that once data was being skimmed from their systems.
Today in 2026 Anthony is still very involved with the group as a consultant, along with Graham Mckenzie (Technical Director) and Penny Mckenzie (Financial Director) who are both highly skilled in the contributions to the successful operation of the business moving in to the future. The management team remain focused on the company, products, its success and taking the group forward for many years. It is very likely that Long Range Systems UK and the rest of the group will be operational at it's 50 year anniversary! Of course the whole team at LRS UK should be commended for such excellent contributions.
