Table Location for Restaurants & Cafes
Create faster table turns and enhance your guests experience with table tracker.
Delivering food to the table has just got a lot easier with table tracker! No more searching for the right table, no more confusion when the customer changes their table last minute and no more slow service and cold food. Table tracker eliminates the problems restaurants and cafes face on a daily basis, providing key analytic data that will allow mangers to point out which areas are in need of improvement.
Table tracker is currently being used within M&S cafes and here is what M&S Group Hospitality Manager says about Table Tracker.
David Condliffe - "Table tracker has really helped not only with speed of service but also by identifying where we can probe speed of service and make informed decisions with additional resource or cooking equipment. Before table tracker this would have been purely anecdotal. Now we can make investment choices based on facts’.
The data that Table Tracker collected for M&S gave them the tools to
have insights into their cafe operations. Service levels increased
dramatically so M&S rolled out Table Tracker to the rest of the UK. TT
has been used successfully in M&S since October 2013 and David Condliffe,
Group Hospitality Project Manager is happy with the long-term benefits
from using the LRS Table Tracker system.

How Table Tracker Works:
The customer will take a tracker device once they have placed their order at the tills and then finds a table and places the tracker down. Once on the table, the location of that tracker is shown on screen with the table number and the table seating plan. Even if the customer moves tables, this will update automatically on screen so there is no confusion.
Waiters delivering food can see exactly where they need to go, eliminating any wrong orders being sent to the wrong tables and eliminating the time it takes to search for customers.
Once the table tracker has collected enough data, management can see exactly how long it’s taking for food to leave the kitchen and how long it’s taking waiters to deliver the food. Once management has seen the data they can make informed decisions based on facts to improve wait times and service.
